1. Update on the implementation of Hobson's Apply Yourself (AY) - Laurie Cantwell
UNLV is the first large, undergraduate serving institution to implement Hobson’s AY. This system went “live” on Wednesday, February 11. AY is a recruiting tool that is intended to make the online application process user friendly. This system includes tools for enrollment tracking, high school student self-report data, GPA calculator and ethnicity reporting based on new criteria set by the Department of Education. AY was intentionally set up to work well with both SIS and PeopleSoft. The AY data warehouse is located offsite and UNLV has access through a webcenter.
2. Latest efforts to formalize census dates - Christina Drum
There has been a meeting finalized for Wednesday, February 18, to discuss formalizing a calendar for census dates.
3. Discussion from last meeting - The accuracy of the student status field - Christina Drum
Jesse stated that there has been nothing done on this issue so far because of its complexity. The group decided it would be good to make this issue a topic during the calendar for census dates meeting.
4. Brief update on what's happening with the Data Warehouse/Reporting team - Kivanc Oner
There has been an EPM module established as part of the effort to prepare for ORACLE discussions concerning UNLV and UNR’s data warehouses. The group will meet for the next 8 weeks.
